The main challenge for this application was the lack of a defined feature set from Product Owners and Management. While they envisioned a basic process modeling tool, similar to mature products like Microsoft's Aura Portal, the application also needed to be robust and suitable for white-label sale.
We tackled this by first conducting thorough market research to understand existing applications and potential user needs within the claims services market. This informed the essential functionalities the app should provide.
Next, we collaborated directly with Product Owners and developers to visualize the product's design and behavior. We used interactive prototypes over several rounds to refine these ideas and provide clear guidance for the development team, ensuring accurate translation of designs into code.
